“There's no such thing as writer's block. That was invented by people in California who couldn't write.”

—Terry Pratchett

Publishers & Agents

What makes The Queue unique and innovative is openness: fellow publishers and agents are free (literally) to examine our lineup. Today there are far more quality manuscripts than there are presses with the capacity to identify and publish them. Along with providing high-quality literary critiques for all writers, one of the main missions of The Queue is to see excellent work get published. By providing a platform from which to present talented writers to agents and other publishers, we increase the chances of their success, as well as the success of The Queue as a whole.

Manuscripts on The Queue have already been carefully vetted by our editors and Advisory Board. Q‑authors retain all rights to their work and their manuscripts are available for acquisition by other publishers. If a publisher or an agent decides to either publish or represent a Q‑manuscript, we simply ask that The Queue be credited in the final product—no finder’s or any other fees are involved. So if you are a publisher or agent, we heartily encourage you to peruse and pursue the selection of works currently On Queue. No strings, no fees—simply a lineup of vetted, highly deserving manuscripts awaiting their day in the sun.
